Anyone who carries around several expensive mobile devices suffers from the constant Anxiety, these could be damaged by eg moisture, falling or hitting somewhere.
Since I occasionally go canoeing and still like to take pictures, my equipment should not be missing in summer right now: the waterproof bag that keeps the contents dry, even if the bag falls into the water. But even with heavy showers, it is of course useful.
The copy from Hama is a hard-wearing, waterproof bag to protect against moisture, dirt, dust and sand, which is ideal for leisure activities in water sports, camping and trekking as well as for motorcycle and bicycle tours. In the sturdy bag you can keep clothes, equipment and other important and valuable items dry and clean and close them with a roll-top closure.
The bag consists of a strong tarpaulin tarpaulin with welded seams, the carrying strap is detachable and adjustable, you can wear it crossbody or comfortably over the shoulder. Also, the bag light to clean. Hama offers the bag in blue or black in different sizes between 2 and 40 liters. I think 10 liters is ideal because the bag is big enough to hold the camera, but still fits in any backpack.
But what happens if I want to take photos with the camera while canoeing or doing water sports? There is one here too Solution, namely the Hama “Active” outdoor bag for smartphones, which in size XXL is suitable for smartphones with a 5,0 to 5,5″ display or dimensions of up to 16 x 8,5 cm.
The double-sided transparent bag protects against dirt and offers protection against continuous submersion according to IPX8. With an open / close latch, you can activate the locking mechanism for secure and watertight locking, and you can also attach the mobile phone with a carrying strap.
The somewhat complicated but necessary locking mechanism is also my small criticism of this otherwise so practical bag. Because some things can't be done out of the bag, e.g. the frame of my smartphone covers the selfie camera, and the plastic cover also makes it easy to operate clear difficult. That's why I almost only use it in situations where I'm afraid the cell phone might get out of my hand Hand or even fall into the water.
The protective glass must be sufficient for all other occasions. Hama offers the “Universal” real glass screen protector for smartphones for different display sizes. In my case, I was given a protective glass for the display size 5,5 ”- 5,7”.
It is a particularly durable and robust tempered glass screen protector that provides maximum scratch protection through 9H Nano-Tech coating. The high-transparent Ultraclear material nevertheless ensures HD quality for outstanding brilliance, the surface has an anti-fingerprint coating.
Practical: The glass absorbs electrostatically, so no glue is necessary and it can be removed without residue. The glass protects, in contrast to other protective glasses, even when falling down and does not even jump itself. Recommended!
However, liquid screen protection is far more practical than a glass pane. The Hama liquid glass seal for smartphones and tablets. The liquid glassTechnology works like a vitamin cure for the display: Once the invisible nano seal has been applied, you get a robust, durable display with extremely high abrasion resistance - depending on intensive use, this means a 1A seal for up to 12 months.
The smartphone screen gets an extremely smooth surface with the liquid glass - scratches are very difficult to do their work with such smooth surfaces. Likewise, fingerprints, fat streaks and co - on smooth surfaces you just can not find a foothold. Delivered are a Versieglungsset and a microfiber cloth.
While this sealing unfortunately does not help is jumping the glass when the device falls down. But it is really suitable for all displays, including tablets, laptops and watches.
What really helps against heavy bumps is a good bag like the Hama Notebook-Sleeve “Mission” for devices up to 34 cm (13,3 ″). It has a width of 35 cm and a height of 26 cm, its depth is 2,5 cm and the weight 241 g. The inner compartment measures 33 x 2 x 26 cm.
The bag is made of water-repellent polyester / polyurethane (PU) and has a black leather look with a gold-colored zipper. Two fine sections of fabric give the sleeve a special touch, the padded Notebookfach ensures reliable protection during transport. In addition to the main compartment for the device that can be closed with a zipper, there is a spacious front pocket for additional accessories or personal items. A soft inner lining protects the sensitive surface of the case.
Some people may complain that the device has no carrying strap or handle, I found that to be practical: since I need the bag primarily to carry my laptop fast and practical to stow away in a backpack, there is no additional clutter here.
The Buddy model from Picard is an extremely successful backpack, which I take with me on the go, whether traveling or at business appointments for sure feel, whether it's raining or in a dense crowd. The black backpack made of oiled buffalo leather is also stylish for the city and business and combines the advantages of a fashion accessory with those of good outdoor equipment. Extremely well thought out and therefore highly recommended. Also practical: thanks to its appearance, it can be taken with you both during the day and to evening events, and thanks to its practical design, it offers the perfect storage for all work utensils.
In fact, stylish, simple bags of good quality are always the hardest to find: many models are kitschy, overloaded and act a little cheap, and the imitation leather models in particular like to travel abroad, which doesn't happen with real leather. The Buddy is actually considered a men's backpack, but it is also for Women best for. I chose it mainly because of its capacity: At 43 cm high, 31 cm wide and 15 cm deep, it offers space for most things that I need for business meetings and during the day. What is particularly important to me is the division of the compartments: Unlike many pockets, the buddy does not lose himself in confusing main and secondary compartments, which one would then have to frantically rummage through in search of a cell phone or keys; Much more, the Buddy simply has a large inner compartment without an annoying middle compartment. On the front inside there is a zippered compartment, e.g. for valuables and a pocket for small items. On the inside back there is a padded pocket for tablets or netbooks. For an emergencyebook From a size of 15 inches, as I'm currently carrying it around for a test, the space is unfortunately a little tight. I have to pack it up again and then I just close the backpack. Maybe laptops are simply no longer up to date?
Positive In this context, the large and stable zippers should be mentioned, which also withstand if the lining material is pinched. But of course zippers tend to be the first thing to break. The outer pockets are extremely well thought out. There is a smaller half outer pocket on the front, but the outer pocket on the back is really original. It runs half the length of the back and offers enough space for the most important valuables - mobile phone, wallet and keys. The major disadvantage of a backpack - the risk of being robbed - is thus significantly reduced. The shoulder straps, which are held in place by a simple clip, are also beautifully designed and slightly padded. This suits the simple design, but is a bit too fragile for my taste: the straps can loosen too quickly and then you have to tie them again.
