Women who make careers - that has been somewhat “in” since the discussion about the women's quota. Thought themselves diverse Companys and are now targeting women. But how is that treacherous.
The way in which companies advertise for the favor of women shows one thing, however: the old clichés and with them the barriers in people's minds are by no means obsolete. How emancipation really works is shown in the end in the toilet!

The ladies' toilet does not offer the same view, even if that would have been structurally possible (and before anyone asks: yes, I was there myself ... but that's another story ...)

Incidentally, I consciously exaggerate: Of course, the second object is just a glass bowl on which a pink card is stylishly emblazoned. The association with a salad bowl, also due to the green content, could not be more unfortunate and somehow reminds of “kitchen” and “design” but not career.

The view from the men's room at Commerzbank in Frankfurt - gigantic indeed. The fact that the one in the ladies' room - whom I don't know personally, by the way - is different, I can't see as discrimination or misogyny with the best will in the world, that falls short of the mark.

From this perspective, I have no problem with high heels and a salad bowl. For many women this is 1. part of their identity and joie de vivre, we treat ourselves to that in addition to our now undisputed competence and 2. is the same with the quota: Not: “Can you do something or are you quota” or rather both also.
