Torsten Montag is a consultant, Internet-Entrepreneur and author of the book “Brainwashing Employment Agency: Unemployed People Accuse – 77 Harassment of the Employment Agency.”. In an interview, he reports on harassment of the unemployed – and how it could be done better.

The system of labor administration has, in fact, its great weaknesses. The argumentation of the author has some pitfalls.
In the meantime, two parallel worlds have developed: the “clean” employment agency, which takes care of the people who are in unemployment benefit 1 and, on the other hand, the job centers, which take care of unemployment benefit 2 with municipal participation or even on their own.
But in the area of Social Security Code II, it is sometimes not the employees of the agency for work, which are responsible for miserable conditions. Therefore the throwing of terms like Arbeitsagentur, Arbeitsamt, Jobcenter, Hartz IV, unemployment benefit 2 etc. is annoying in a pot. It makes the entire argumentation of the author vulnerable. This is a pity.
The last paragraph of the interview is more evidence of the author's ignorance of the current situation. The customers of the employment agencies are more likely to be driven in the direction that they have no chance of further training. The consequence of this is that the fight for a desired further education in the area of the unemployment benefit 1 is currently a normal condition. Thus, no further training is imposed, but is withheld.
There is no longer any question of “great dependencies and commercial interdependencies”, especially in the area of further training. The opposite is often the case. The agency's “neutrality” of the agency and the requirements for certification and public tendering of “measures” by no means mean that agencies are preferred by employment agencies, but rather that the agency has to be chosen that has the lowest price - which is rarely the best quality conditionally.
