Great statement about perfection: Everyone is probably going through this experience and I think it is nice not to talk about failure today, if one deliberately decides to give less to achieve more.
In my opinion, this conscious reduction is nothing more than the focus on the really important things, which is why you initially feel “liberated”, even if you are actually doing exactly the right thing: Saying goodbye to side effects.
Perfection also has something to do with questioning yourself - and sometimes a clear no, which is controversial, is much more perfect than a half-hearted yes.
