Watch out, trap! 7 Dangers in # business start-up
Hello Tobias,
You are right: You can buy a ready-made start-up concept (= franchising) for a fee. And anyone who takes on a business idea that has been tried and tested in practice starts with fewer risks and problems than a “single-handed” start-up.
The first thing to do here is to check why you are going to be self-employed?
For a franchise system to work, you as the franchisee must adhere to the necessary requirements of the franchisor. You lose a lot of your own freedom of choice!
Are you ready to accept this disadvantage? Or are you striving for self-employment in order to become your own boss - with more personal freedom, development and independence? Then, despite its advantages, franchising would not be a suitable path to self-employment for you.
Regardless of your personal suitability as a franchisee, (new) hurdles await you here: the franchise idea itself, the donor and the contract must then be carefully examined.
Best regards,
Michael of the hair
Thank you Mr. von der Haar for the nice analysis!
Hallo,
a good compilation of possible traps! Some of that could be covered by franchising, right? There is support with financing, you are not alone and the franchisor has already given some thought to the target group and fees. Tried and tested concepts, such as those presented at www.franchiseportal.de, for example, offer a risk-minimized form of independence.
Best Regards,
Tobias
