Professor & Sir Ken Robinson

Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II, Sir Ken Robinson is one of the leading innovators. Born in 1950 in Liverpool, UK, Ken Robinson developed polio at the age of four. He had to give up his dream of becoming a professional footballer at an early age. As a young adult, he realized his real talent: speaking in front of an audience. Today he is one of the most sought-after speakers in the world, advising governments, corporations and NGOs in Europe, Asia and the US. In 1998 he headed a creativity, education and business commission for the UK government and later became a key figure in developing a strategy for Creative and Economic Development in the Peace Process for Ireland.
