Dr.Ing. Peter Becker

Dr.-Ing. Peter Becker worked, among other things, for NATO and is now the managing partner of the personnel consultancy Steinbach und Partner. From 1976 - 1981 he studied electrical engineering at the TU Darmstadt. In 1982 he began his industrial career as a development engineer for sensors, microelectronics and signal processing. As part of a German-American technology transfer, he spent two years in the USA in 1983, where he worked as a project manager for the development of on-board computers in a NATO anti-tank missile system. In 1989, he completed his doctorate at the Technical University of Darmstadt in the field of control engineering / aviation technology. Moved as Head of Research and Development Dr. Becker 1993 became one of the world market leaders in flow measurement technology in Switzerland, where he was appointed 1997 Managing Director for Marketing, Sales, Service and Development. In addition to his professional duties devoted himself Dr. Becker intensively questions the organization and process optimization as well as the personnel development. In 2000 he returned to Germany to take over the chairmanship of the management of an internationally oriented group of companies in the electrical engineering industry. He completed a postgraduate course in individual psychology and further training as a systemic coach, with a particular focus on personality psychology and aptitude diagnostics. He was a sponsor and juror in the Northern Bavaria Network for many years. He is also active in the training of pastors and coaches as a part-time job Dr. Becker as HR consultant for Steinbach and Partner Executive Consultants. His main areas of activity are the search and selection of qualified specialists and executives - especially for international industrial companies - and the personnel development of executives (aptitude diagnostics, coaching).
