A dream comes true: Working in an apartment with a sea view

Working by the sea and with a sea view was a dream of mine for a long time, which recently went away thanks to the vacation rental provider: Novasol made it possible and provided me with an apartment with a sea view for a week.

There I was able to live and work directly in Vlissingen, in the Dutch Zealand, practically right on the beach. My apartment was on the 6th floor of an apartment house with a balcony directly on the beach boulevard and thus a sea view.

How are the apartments?

The apartment itself was functional and nicely furnished: a bedroom, a children's room with two bunk beds (for four persons), an open, modern equipped kitchen with dishwasher and induction cooker, a dining and living area with sofa, as well as a bathroom and seperate toilet.

On top of that, for mine needs perfect, a balcony with a sea view, which is wonderful to work on. It lies for sure also because of the excellent and fast WLAN Unfortunately, only sun protection and air conditioning are missing, which of course is necessary at these temperatures Problem is - but this heat is also rather rare in these latitudes.

For six or seven people, it should be a little tight, for me there is enough space: I spend the morning on the balcony with writing and sea view, at night I leave for small things or shopping on.

Advantages and disadvantages of apartments

A drawback in this apartment house is certainly the very small number of elevators - only one on each side. This often means very long waiting times. For me, as someone who rarely books apartments, bringing bedding or towels is rather unusual, even if both would have been available locally for an additional cost.

Also that the final cleaning with 70 euro to book, I find something expensive. In other apartments, there were sometimes still practical remnants of spice, cleaning agent or toilet paper, here everything was completely cleared. It is convenient that a supermarket is within walking distance.

How do you find apartments with sea views?

That makes for me ultimately also the great advantage of this apartment house in Vlissingen from: The great location directly at the sea with at the same excellent infrastructure. Since you can also go without a car well once a week to the Arbeitsurlsaub withdraw and be really productive, without having to worry too much about logistics.
