What I can hardly imagine, on the other hand, is that you really want to force all (large) entrepreneurs to make provision for old age. This is of course pure speculation on my part, but ...

When 1998 introduced the pension insurance obligation for the relevant occupational groups, it was possible to exempt from the statutory pension obligation if they were able to provide a pension for old age in the form of a life insurance.

This is no longer possible: even those who have private pension schemes must register for statutory pension insurance under the conditions mentioned. If the coalition were to get rid of this nonsense, that would at least be a small step forward, along the lines of: old-age provision is ok, but free Choice the form.

Retirement insurance makes the situation worse

Because allegedly, the minister is, as she said at the beginning of the talk, to secure the poor self-employed and to improve their working conditions. But that doesn't seem to be planned - it also costs money Money!
