What is Social Media Week?

As a global communication platform, Social Media Week discusses and researches emerging social, cultural and commercial trends in social and mobile media. Their aim is to keep track of current developments and to identify opportunities for future changes in society, culture and economics.

The event is a platform for an interactive exchange between users and providers from the commercial and non-commercial context. In lectures, discussions and workshops, current topics are addressed and analyzed.

Topics from business to politics

Lectures and discussion rounds are planned on all areas relating to social media: Business and Recruiting, Education, media, gaming as well as social and political issues. Our Institute for Communication in Social Media will organize a series of lectures and panels on these topics as part of the Social Media Week Advisory Board. The coordination of all events in Berlin is managed by Deskwanted.
