The Idea sounded tempting: meeting like-minded people, co-working in the garden - and that in the middle of November. The result didn't quite convince me: a nice one Marketing-Idea, nice atmosphere, unfortunately rather unsuitable for productive work.
The Workplace is a place of productivity. A place where People work to Money zu to earn, your Career to build and support oneself. The right workplace can even do that decidewhether you are successful or just getting by.
It is therefore not surprising that not all offices look the same. Some are beautifully designed, with natural light and airy colors, while others are terribly designed and have no windows. As a result, they can Employees all sorts of things Problems have, from Stress up to depression.
This shows that a good workplace can be so much more than just a place to work. It can be the place where you think best, where you express your thoughts and ideas ordnen or where you can relax after a busy day.
This is exactly why I thought the idea of working in a kind of garden in the middle of winter, surrounded by plants, was excellent. The HAU 1 theater in Berlin Kreuzberg made exactly that possible, and in November, one of the grayest months of the year, and not just in Berlin.
As part of the “Zelle” festival in the middle of November, HAU 1 hosted the Princess Garden – and the plants from there. Throughout the festival, various Berlin coworking spaces invited people to cowork in the garden. The idea is:
As productive work with like-minded people in a creative atmosphere in a semi-public space between an open-plan office, home office and café, coworking promotes a new culture of collaboration in self-organized forms of work. It's not primarily about working on the same things. The focus is on creating a working environment in which you enjoy working independently and can easily establish social contacts with other people who work in a similar way. Digital forms for collaborative work that have been tried and tested on the Internet are again used here in analogue space in order to implement openness, transparency, accessibility and collaborative forms of work in the local environment.
organizer of SALE were the hall project and the Berlin coworking spaces Studio 70, Co.up, tanterenate, Yorck52, Glas+Bild, Club Office and Betahaus. Every day from 16 p.m. to 18.30 p.m. you could work here free of charge, WiFi included.
What I liked: Having the smell of the plants in the nose when working has something - even if it takes place indoors. And then you could still attend one of the garden seminars for free.
But that was also a disadvantage: they took place partly at the same time as co-working - productive work was out of the question. At comfortable with the neighbors chat but also not, because that would have disturbed the seminars.
Even the workplaces themselves - beer tables and beer benches - were anything but comfortable workplaces. Most of all, the lack of daylight, even the rather dim lighting disturbed me. Good work is unfortunately different, even if I have a lot of sympathy for this idea.
